Check out the various Ghanaian artists that won big at the just ended Ghana Music Awards, USA.

Martin King Arthur, also known as Kofi Kinaata, a Takoradi native, won the most coveted award at the recently held Ghana Music Awards USA.

Kofi Kinaata was named Artiste of the Year at the event, which took place at the Lincoln Theater on 769 E. Long Street in Columbus, Ohio.

He defeated last year’s victor, Diana Hamilton, as well as Black Sherif, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy.

Black Sherif, the sensational rapper, also won Hip-hop/Highlife Artiste of the Year and New Artiste of the Year.

Lynx Entertainment signees are not exempt.

Kuami Eugene was named Sound Engineer/Producer of the Year, and KiDi was named Afrobeat/Afropop Artiste of the Year.

Diana Hamilton has been named Female Vocalist of the Year, while Akwaboah has been named Male Vocalist of the Year.

Okyeame Kwame’s ‘Yeeko,’ featuring Kuami Eugene and Epixode, was named Most Popular Song of the Year, and Epixode was named Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
