Arnold Asamoah Baidoo Praises Shatta Wale For The first Time

Revered Ghanaian entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has heaped praises on Shatta Wale for what he described as “emotional intelligence’ in Wiyaala citation brouhaha.

It will be vividly recalled that we reported that Wiyaala levelled an accused Shatta Wale and his team of preventing her from receiving her citation of merit on stage.

The incident happened on August 13 2022 when both musical artists were been billed to perform at SummerStage Festival in New York.

According to the source, citations of merit were supposed to be presented to them by the Bronx Borough President, Vanessa L. Gubson on stage but unfortunately, only Shatta Wale received his on stage but she was been told to go backstage for hers which she angrily declined and left the venue for her hotel.

After the incident at the concert, Wiyaala alleged via her verified Facebook page that the Dancehall musician was responsible for her inability to receive her citation on stage and the disrespect on her brand it came along with.

The controversial dancehall musician known for his hyperactive character surprised the public by not uttering a word concerning the allegation despite the possible damages it might have had on his brand.

Speaking in the latest episode of the United on UTV, the pundit applauded Shatta Wale for exhibiting emotional intelligence.

Though Wiyaala apologized to Shatta Wale after she discovered that he had no hand in the occurrence, Arnold suggested that the ‘Lioness Of Africa’ should have exercised a little bit of patience and also seek clarification before coming to make the allegation, that could have prevented the fronts and backs.

“The little I will tell Wiyaala and her likes is that when issues come up, they should be patient. As you know, social media has its gains but one thing (lost) in artistry is that artistes don’t communicate anymore, social media is the easiest resort.

“Social media has made it hard for them to
communicate, if Wiyaala was a bit patient and had reached out because they were all in the same precinct, she could have called for clarifications, it is her lack of patience that triggered all of this.

“But I will applaud Shatta Wale for the
emotional intelligence he displayed, for me, it is a big plus” he stated, adding thus: “I praise him because the Shatta Wale we know could have also gone berserk…”
