The deputy finance minister and member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, Hon. John Kumah has boldly told critics of Ken Ofori-Atta over alleged conflict of interest with Databank to go to court. Over the week, veteran journalist, KKD accused the finance minister of engaging in a conflict of interest when his bank, Databank bank is used to get loans from the bond market, and he is paid handsomely for that.
During KKD’s submission on Ghana Television, he revealed that “Ghana is getting poor with numerous borrowing but Ken Ofori-Atta and others are getting poor because they benefit”. Meanwhile, deputy finance minister, John Kumah while reacting to these allegations on Joy News revealed that anyone who doesn’t agree can go to Court.
“ Those who are so pained by the current situation should go to court. Either the Supreme Court or High Court so that we can all be guided. As far as I’m concerned, they are living within the laws of the country. Even in their settings, they disclosed it, and every information has been put out there. All of a sudden, it a turning into another unheard-of situation.” John Kumah boldly revealed this on Joy News on Saturday.
Charles Adu-Boahen has also been accused of the same conflict of interest saga just like Ken Ofori-Atta.
