A newly posted Immigration officer ICO Mark Adaako stationed at Hamile has been crushed to death by some suspected Burkinabes. His whole body was totally mutilated beyond recognition to the extent that it was picked with a shovel into a casket.
Accordingto the reports, the Burkinabes were driving a big cargo car along the Mali Boarder where the officer was patrolling on his motorbike. Before his colleagues could blink, the cargo car had ran over Mark Adaako killing him instantly.
Sadly, the Burkinabe driver and his mate refused to stop as they quickly returned their vehicle. Officers of the Ghana Immigration Service are still searching for the Burkinabe driver. The mutilated body has been deposited at the Hamile Government Hospital.
Wordsof condolences started flowing after the news was broadcasted on the Ghana Immigration News page on Facebook.
