Today, Saturday, August 20, 2022 is the birthday of the Second Lady of the country. Samira Bawumia is not known for just being beside her husband Bawumia, but also her intelligence and sense of fashion. The Second Lady has stood beside her husband ever since he first resigned from the Bank of Governor to become the running mate of Akufo-Addo.
The Second Lady turned 42 today and many Ghanaians are wishing her well. Well, her husband, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has also sent his message to his wife. He played glowing tributes to his wife and referred to her as a person blessed with intellect and kindness. Bawumia also thanked his wife for being there for him and ended with an emotional “ I love you darling. Enjoy your day”.
This post on Facebook is receiving so much reactions. It’s been less than an hour since the post was made at 8:40am but already close to 1,000 comments have been posted to wish the Second Lady well. Interestingly, many referred to Samira Bawumia as the incoming First Lady. Samira will be close to her husband when he stands on the ticket of the NPP to contest as flagbearer.
