It was a packed studio as Gabriella Tetteh, a member of National Democratic Communications Team, Solomon Owusu, member of the NPP Communications Team, Fiifi Kwetey, Former Transport Minister and Kwesi Pratt joined Sena Nombo on popular Saturday political talk show, Alhaji and Alhaji.
The four looked at trending matters regarding the new tariff increases, Aftermath of the Kenyan elections and the recent comments of Hopeson Adorye during the Aduro wo so health walk last weekend. Kwesi called on the NPP delegates to open their eyes and select the one who has the mind to change the country.
According to Kwesi Pratt, the battle will be between Alan and Bawumia and urged the NPP to choose wisely. This apparently didn’t go down well with Fiifi Kwetey who interrupted to say that Kwesi shouldn’t even call for the NPP to choose between Alan and Bawumia because both were of the same stock and can’t save the country. Fiifi questioned why Pratt will say that when according to him there is a better option.
“That is what you think. Fiifi listen to me carefully. I am more strategic. There may be 2 incompetent people but obviously one may be more incompetent than the other. I am not saying Ghanaians should vote for the NPP in 2024 but for the primaries they need to vote wisely. We know their record”
Kwesi Pratt who many have tagged as pro NDC rather gave a surprise answer when he explained that Alan and Bawumia were not the same and that indeed one of the candidates was better than the other. He cautioned Fiifi on branding both candidates as the same because they weren’t. He maintained that he will not point hands but Ghanaians know that one is better than the other.
Though Kwesi didn’t point hands it is clear that Kwesi Pratt will prefer Alan to Bawumia. Kwesi has been one of the fiercest critics of Bawumia and has accused him of leading the country into a ditch. Mr. Pratt is one of those who have called for Bawumia to be sacked.
