The former president of the Musicians Union Ghana (MUSIGA) Bice Osei Kuffor known as Obour has eulogized late highlife musician AB Crentsil for his contribution to the music industry.
Speaking to the Graphic showbiz on the one-week celebration at the community 8 Park, Tema, Obour disclosed he was close to AB Crenstile and saw him as a father.

Obour spoke about the collaboration he did with the late AB Crentsil in 2007 titled “The Best of Lifes”. he disclosed that it was one of the best masterpieces produced.

“It was not just an album but a project which came with a nationwide tour and a tour of five continents,” he said.
Obour disclosed that for about three years, he was on the streets of Ghana and in the air with AB Crentsil promoting the project.

According to Obour, the late AB Crentsil loved the rap genre and tried to squeeze in some rap during recording sessions.

“When you are rapping, he wants to dance with you, cheer you on and after it all, he will talk to you and let you learn some of the experiences he went through.”
“For me, since my father passed, AB Crentsil has been more like the pillar I go to periodically to talk to. Now that he is no more, it is going to be a difficult time for me.” Obour said.
