GFA Club Licensing Manager, Ben Julius Emuna, believes if strict measures are to be set in place, most clubs will automatically miss out on pitch accreditation for league games.
Ben Emuna, acknowledged the association’s close ties with most clubs in the country for competitive games.
“If you look at our stadia directives, if you are to enforce it fully, It will not be satisfactory enough to compete in the leagues or to host premier league matches”, he stated.
“Issue of club licensing goes beyond the premise of infrastructural criteria”.
“We have five thematic criteria that we work with. We have the administrative, personnel, finance, sporting & legal and infrastructure”.
“Most often because of the fact that we go right for inspection and of course the facilities are well known, these get the biggest attention”.
“But we work with the clubs to make sure that certain basic conditions are in it perfect state before we can grant you a license”
