Ghanaian controversial radio and television journalist, Captain Smart has revealed that there is nothing wrong with the Church of Pentecost having a target for their tithe collection.
Speaking on Onua TV Maakye program, Captain Smart said the church of Pentecost is the only Church that have detailed account on their finances and what they have been used for annually.
He said in some Churches, the Pastors deceive their followers with unrealistic prophecies like sending money to their bank accounts, loading their mobile money accounts and others but there is nothing like that in the Church of Pentecost.
He argued that Apostle Eric Kwame Nyamekye, who is the chairman of the Church of Pentecost always urge the members not to have unrealistic expectations from miracles because prophecies must always come with work. He said God entrusted them to guide the members lives through prayers while they also work and bring the tithes.
“If you think those prophecies work, get up and visit those banks and see if you will not ne arrested. momo ones work, then take and empty momo account and try sending money. It doesn’t work. But in Pentecost, our leaders, apostle Eric Kwame Nyamekye and his Pastors advise us to work while they pray for us so that we will also come and pay tithes” he said.
