Former Ghana International, Laryea Kingston, is advocating for Asamoah Gyan’s inclusion in the national team for Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Kingston, acknowledges that not all members of the team will have the chance to kick a ball in the football fiesta hence the addition of the experienced forward.
“We have 23 players going to the tournament”, he said.
“Players go to the tournament and they do not even touch a ball, they do not play one minute”.
“If you have him on your bench, either he is going there as a technical person or to support the technical team or he is in the squad”.
“Once a while you can bring him on to bring his A game to the squad”.
Laryea Kingston is currently undergoing his UEFA B Licensing coaching course.
The FIFA World Cup is set for November this year. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will start in November this year.
