Ex-Ghana midfielder, Yusif Chibsah says Hearts of Oak and Kotoko stand a chance in next season’s campaign.
The former Kotoko captain however urges the two clubs to put in much investment and hardwork.
“I think they stand a great chance considering the region they are paired with now, their fellow counterparts, West African countries or clubs.
“Usually we do well against those clubs from those regions, we used to struggle when we meet clubs from North Africa.
“But at the end of the day preparations determines where you will get to.
“We shouldn’t just relax and consider the fact that because we are meeting fellow West African partners then it’s going to be an easy task.
“If you don’t prepare well, you are not going to get anywhere.” Yusif Chibsah told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
Asante Kotoko have been paired against Burkina Faso champions, Rail Club de Kadiogo for the preliminary round of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
