Ghana champions Asante Kotoko has signed Ivorian midfielder Serge Eric Zeze on a three-year deal, the club has announced.

Kotoko, posted a message on their media channels in announcing the arrival of the talented playmaker.

The message simply read: “We welcome the arrival of Ivorian skimmer, Serge Eric Zeze, before adding, “the former Asec Mimosas playmaker joins us for free on a three year deal.”

It welcomed Zeze to the Garden City club as they added to their list ahead of the start of the 2022/23 Ghana football season.

Zeze, becomes the latest foreigner to sign for the Porcupines this transfer window after the arrivals of Cameroonian duo Moise Pouaty and Koualao Dane Djomian Thomas Pele as well as Ugandan international striker Steven Dese Mukwala.

On Monday, Asante Kotoko also confirmed the signing of Ernest Osei Poku on a free transfer after his exploits in Egypt.

The Porcupines are looking to improve on their squad for next season as they seek to retain the GPL title they won last season as well as compete in the FA Cup competition.

The record Ghana champions will also participate in the CAF Champions League next season, a competition, they have been paired against Burkina Faso champions Rail Club de Kadiogo in the preliminary round in September.
