Metro TV is a member of the Ignite Media Group managers of Original TV and Original Radio. Some of the popular TV presenters of the station include Paul Adom Otchere, Bridget Otoo and Dr. Randy Abbey.
Interestingly, Metro TV produces some of the best political programmes in the country. The station has the Good Morning Ghana and Good Afternoon Ghana shows showing every week day. Good Evening Ghana also comes off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The station this morning on the Good Morning Ghana Facebook page announced that the political programme hosted by Dr. Randy Abbey will not come off.
According to the team of the station they are having technical issues and so will not be able to telecast the live programme of the show today. Instead, the station hopes to show a repeat of the show of last Friday will be shown to viewers. Last Friday Sammy Gyamfi and Richard Asante Yeboah joined Randy Abbey on the show.
Yesterday, a flyer of the programme scheduled for today went round and it showed Randy Abbey hosting Gabriella Tetteh, an NDC communicator and Ellen Ama Daaku of the NPP. Though the station cites technical issues, Gabriella Tetteh who was supposed to be a panelist on the show on her Facebook page told her fans that earlier in the morning that the show will not come off because of power issues.
Gabriella Tetteh expressed disappointment that the show failed to deliver and encouraged her fans to rather join her the next time she appears on a programme. On Mondays it is an all ladies’ affair as Annie Ampofo plays host to female communicators of the 2 biggest political parties.
