The five-day public hearing will consider infractions and financial misappropriations cited in the Auditor-General’s Report (2019).
The Auditor-General’s 2019 Reports cited several institutions Kumasi and Sunyani Technical Universities in the Ashanti and the Bono regions respectively.
The PAC will also interrogate the Report of the Auditor General on the Management And Utilisation of District Assemblies’ Common Fund And other statutory funds for the year ended 31st December 2019 before departing to another Zone.
The probe will capture all pointers uncovered by the auditor’s general report on some irregularities and how to seal the openings and recommend the solutions for the uptake of the needed body.
For the year under review, measures will be enacted to plain off the canker plaguing these institutions.
