A member of the NPP Communications team, Hopeson Adorye, who happens to be a strong supporter of Alan Kyeremanten has served a notice to the general public to apologize for what he said recently.
In his latest post on Facebook, Hopeson Adorye revealed that he takes full responsibility of what he said on Saturday. He apologized to all persons who were offended by his choice of words.Â
“As much as it is not my nature, it definitely was not my intention to create this misunderstanding. I take full responsibility for my actions and sincerely apologize to all who are offended” he said.
He also added that he is not the operations director for Alan Kyeremanten. He is just a supporter who wants Alan Kyeremanten to win the 2024 elections
“I take this opportunity to state categorically that I am neither an Operations Director for Alan Kyerematen nor aware of any such campaign team created. Asanteman has spoken, Alan Kyerematen is NPP’s Unifier and the best choice for victory in 2024, and l am at peace with it.” he posted.

This comes after Hopeson Adorye made some revelations about what he call “NPP Tradition” to Ghanaians. According to him, NPP follows a tradition known as the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition. He added that the Danquah represents the South, Busia represents the middle belt and Dombo represents the Northern parts of the country.
He explained further and revealed that former president Kuffour came from the Busia tradition and selected a helper from the North. President Akufo came from the Dankwa tradition and selected a helper from the North. He concluded that Alan Kyeremanten, who is from the Busia tradition must also come so that he can select a helper from the North.
The comment from him that has caused several reactions is when he said the NPP always select their running mates from the Northern sector. This has been interpreted by many political activists to mean that Hopeson Adorye means that the Northeners are only fit for running mates positions and not flag bearers.
