Peyronie’s Disease: Look Out For These Signs If You Have A Curved Penis.

It is common for the male organ to curve slightly to the left or right when it is erect. But if you have a more significant bend in there, which causes pain or difficulty during sex, then there’s a problem.

Peyronie’s disease is a male disease that causes the genital to become curved when it’s erect. The condition mostly affects men over 40, although it can happen at any age. According to the Urology Care Foundation, Peyronie’s disease affects about 4 out of 100 men between the ages of 40–70 years.

If you have a naturally curved male organ, look out for these signs to be sure that there is no underlying health condition attached. Some of these lookouts include ; a thickened area or hard lump (plaque) in the shaft of the penis (it’s rare to get more than one plaque), a curve in the male when erect (usually it curves upwards), pain in the genital usually during an erection (pain in the non-erect penis is rare), misshapen appearance of the male organ (like an hourglass), loss of length or girth of the penis.

Some men with the condition get pain in their genitals, while others get none. If you do get pain, it may get better over time.

But in severe cases, the curve in the male organ can make having sex difficult, painful or even impossible. Peyronie’s disease may also lead to erectile dysfunction.

One of the leading cause of this condition is penile fracture. A fracture occur in the male organ even though it has no bones. This usually occur if the male organ is bent too far or hit hard against the lady’s pelvis when you slip out while thrusting. This type of fracture is different from a broken finger or toe, because the male genital has no bones. Instead, the force ruptures one of the two cylinders inside the male organ that is filled with blood during an erection. Signs of a penile fracture include; a popping sound, swelling, and intense pain in the male genital. If you experience any of these signs during or after intimacy, get medical attention asap.
