Ecclesiastes 10:10 iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

Wisdom comes from above indeed. God has blessed us with every good thing that we need to live here on earth comfortably but we need wisdom to access those blessings. Here are four key qualities I saw displayed in this cute lad. 

🔑Skill

Proverbs 22:29 Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings;He will not stand before obscure men.

I love how incredibly competent this boy is. He knows how to get things done. Whatever our hand finds to do we must do it well and skillfully. We should also be creative and plan strategically. 

🔑Patience 

Galatians 5:22 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.. 

He waited patiently after setting up the fishing trap. We need to learn to be patient till we arrive at the results or success we are looking for. 

🔑Confidence

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We must be confident in our God given abilities. We can do all things through Christ who strengthen us. God has endowed us with grace and wisdom with special talents and abilities. We must use them whenever we need to for our daily profiting. 

🔑Effort

Proverbs 14:23 Work and you will earn a living; if you sit around talking you will be poor.

After he caught the fish, he didn’t go to sleep. He worked with his hands. He skillfully spun the rope and drew the fish to the shore.

A very interesting way of fishing with a bunch of lessons for everyone in every field of work.
