The Ghana Football Association has released the fixtures for 2022/23 Ghana Premier League tonight. The fixtures put together matches that will be played by all Premier League teams in Ghana. Eighteen clubs are scheduled to compete for silverware in the imminent season.
In the fixtures released tonight, Ghana’s biggest and lucrative fixtures between the two most glamorous clubs, Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will take place on match day three. The reigning league champions Asante Kotoko will host arch adversaries Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara on the third week of the season.
Kumasi Derby will also be coming off between reigning champions Asante Kotoko and Kumasi King Faisal. The game will take place on match day four.
On match day four at the Tamale Stadium, Tamale Derby will be going down, involving Real Tamale United and Tamale City. Tamale City joined the Ghana Premier League after winning the mini tournament put together by the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association to find a replacement for demoted Ashantigoldz
