GFA Presidential Aspirant Amanda Clinton To Be Appointed As Accra Hearts of Oak Managing Director

Accra Hearts of Oak are on the verge of appointing Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant Amanda Clinton, as the Managing Director of the club, sources close to club officials have hinted. Accra Hearts of Oak, per the sources, have held talks with host of distinguished individuals Amanda Clinton.

Some media reports have linked Amanda Clinton to the vacant position, with her appointment imminent, that is, if all other arrangements are agreed according to the plan between the two parties.

Amanda Clinton came to the football scene during the time of normalization committee that was put in place to steer affairs of Ghana football following Anas expose.

The astute lawyer later joined the contest to replace Kwesi Nyantakyi as president of the Ghana Football Association. Although she missed the opportunity to lead Ghana football, but her thoughts and ambitions articulated during a debate for presidential aspirants courted attention and admiration.

Months ago, Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Dr. Randy Abbey, was reportedly on the brink of becoming the Managing Director of the club but that did not see light of day.

Accra Hearts of Oak have been in operation for sometime now without a Managing Director, as many people within the club have shared varied concerns.
