After hearing the case, His Worship Abdul Majid Illiasu who presided over the Assin Fosu Magistrate Court has remanded the suspect popularly known as ‘Abaadaho’ into Police custody for two weeks.
From the information gathered, the victim, Daniel Agyapong visited the public toilet facility to ease himself on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
A day before, he had visited the facility and gave GHS1 but the attendance did not give him his balance of GHS0.50p.
He decided on Sunday to use his balance with the attendant to use the facility.
Having reached the facility, he met the suspect who was not the same person he dealt with the previous day.
He explained things to Kwabena Osei but he insisted that he pays the GHS0.50 before he uses the facility.
A heated argument subsequently ensued between the suspect and the victim.
Kwabena Osei denied the victim entry to the facility even when a passerby decided to pay for the victim.
The suspect is said to have gotten furious and fetched faeces with the help of a hand glove.
He chased the victim and bathed him with it.
The Assin Fosu District Police command after receiving a report of the matter conducted an investigation and arrested Kwabena Osei.
In court, the suspect pleaded guilty to charges of offensive conduct and has been remanded to reappear on August 18, 2022.
