Budding Ghanaian singer, Rebecca Sandow popularly known by her stage name as Reka J has converted to Islam.
The Chop Da Mic famed singer announced her successful transition from the Christian faith to the Islamic faith via her Facebook account on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
According to her “God does not give us everything we want, but he does fulfill his promises, leading us along the best and straightest paths to himself. We never grow closer to God when we just live life. It takes deliberate pursuit and attentiveness.”
Her conversion has come with a change of identity (name) from Rebecca to Nihad.
“I’m therefore glad to announce to everyone, my conversion into the religion of peace; Islam. From now onwards, you should call me “Nihad” and I’ll indeed appreciate that” she concluded while she announces her conversion from the Christian faith to the Islamic faith.
