It Will Take Some Convincing To Get Me To Serve In Parliament Come 2024 – Majority Leader Reveals

The member of parliament for Suame constituency, Honourable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who doubles as the minister for Parliamentary Affairs has dropped another revelation about his future in parliament.

In an interview on TV3 this morning with Berla Mundi, host of the morning show, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu was asked whether will once again contest as an MP in 2024.

Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu replied her and revealed that he has already made up his mind that he would not contest again. He added that he has done all that he could and he believes that he has served his people well. He however made it clear that it will really take some level of convincing to make him change his mind and contest in 2024. According to him, he made up his mind not to contest in 2020 but it took the president’s intervention for him to change his mind.

“I have made up my mind this time. However, it will take some doing. It will take some mighty doing because I think where I am now, I have had enough. But you never know what tomorrow may hold.”

“As of yesterday and today, my mind is made up. I’m not minded to change my mind. I think physically and mentally that I have had enough” he said.
