A member of the New Patriotic Party and a convener for the Five Northern Regions Youth For Justice group, Abdul Rahim Karim has dropped some revelations about the upcoming general elections.
Speaking on Okay FM this morning, Abdul Karim revealed that John Mahama is a key competitor for the NPP and for that matter, NPP must present a candidate that can “match” John Mahama.
He made it clear that Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten is a very competent person who can manage the economy of Ghana for long but he can’t win the elections for the NPP. He added the only person who can cause victory for the NPP is the current vice president of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Abdul Rahim explained his point and revealed that Dr. Bawumia has proved to be the best vice president in the fourth republic. He added that Dr. Bawumia has done a lot of developments in the Northern region than any vice president. He made it clear that John Dramani Mahama did little work in terms of development when he was the vice president.
Abdul Rahim further made it clear that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has digitized all sectors of the Ghanaian economy and this has even generated a lot of income to the government. He is therefore confident that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the only person in the NPP that can break the eight and not Alan Kyeremanten.
