CEO Of Ghana Free Zones Authority Hands 2 Motor Bicycles To Kpone District Commander Of Police

The CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Amb Mike Oquaye Jnr on Tuesday, 9th August 2022, handed over two (2) motor bicycles to the Kpone District Command of the Ghana Police Service.

This is part of efforts by the GFZA to ensure safety and security within the Tema Export Processing Zone (TEPZ). The motor bicycles will enable the police effectively patrol the TEPZ and respond to any security situation rapidly.

In handing over the motor bicycles to the District Commander, the CEO admonished the police to use the motor bicycles for its intended purpose and to ensure security of persons and property within the enclave.

On his part, the Kpone District Commander,Chief Superintendent Seth Tay, thanked the GFZA and the CEO especially, for the support to enhance the work of the police within the TEPZ. He noted that, the motor bicycles will make the police officers mobile and pledged to perform their duties diligently.

Other officials present at the ceremony were Mrs Patience Acorlor, Director of the Tema EPZ, Lawrence Osei- Boateng, Director Business Development and Research, Benjamin Obeng Assistant Manager, Detective Sergeant Benjamin Tangsoglah and General Corporal Anthony Oduro
