Arsenal Star Denies Switching Nationality To Play For Ghana

Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah has denied reports that he has switched his nationality to play for Ghana in a latest interview.

The young striker who had long been linked with a national switch to play for Ghana and even feature at the World Cup has described those reports as untrue as he is yet to sit with his family to decide on his future.

In the interview, the young forward explained that he is currently focused on cementing his place in the Arsenal squad after signing a contract extension with the North London Club and that when the time comes to make a decision for which country to represent, he will sit with his family to make that decision.

He said “I haven’t made up my mind yet so I will sit down with my family and my team and see which is good for me”.

Nketiah was born in England but his parents are Ghanaian and that is a reason why he is eligible to play for Ghana. He was a second half substitute in Arsenal’s win against Crystal Palace on Friday.
