Holy Communion Is Not Biblical, Christians Must Learn – House Of Yahweh Member

Holy communion is one of the sacraments of Christians and is never taken for granted at all.

However, a member of the House Of Yahweh, Brother Philip, has condemned this sacrament and has urged Christians to study the Bible very well.

In a studio discussion on Radio 1 100.7fm with Obido on Asendua Ase, Brother Philip argued that Christians today are practicing the festivities that are unbiblical. He listed a series of festivals Christmas, Easter, Valentine, Halloween and added that they are all not biblical.

Supporting his argument with the Scripture, Brother Philip said, “They celebrate Christmas, they celebrate Halloween, they celebrate Easter, all these are not biblical”.

He revealed further that the scripture most Christians use are misinterpreted and added that that was a passover feast and not a Holy Communion. 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 “24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me. 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Brother Philip said, even the Passover ceremony was celebrated every year so if Christians of today want to link that to their Communion, then they must observe it every year and not a condition where some take it weekly, others monthly and some too every Sunday.

However, he revealed again that House of Yaweh practice the Passover as a yearly memorial just as the Bible has said so if anyone really wants to obey the Bible, they must do likewise.

“You see, the Bible says we should take and remember him so at House of Yahweh, we take this as Memorial every year” – Brother Philip maintained.

Brother Philip has been an ardent critic of Christians and their practices. The Holy Communion or Lord’s Supper, in Christianity, is a ritual commemoration of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. The Eucharist (from the Greek eucharistia for “thanksgiving”) is the central act of Christian worship and is practiced by most Christian churches in some form
