Professor Ransford Gyampo the Political Science Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon, has fired that Ministerial appointment does not give one the license to talk arrogantly in public.
Though the Professor did not mention anyone in particular his message was directed to, his further statement gave a clue.
According to him, while other appointees are thinking of how they are going to break the 8, some who are packing to exit are talking arrogantly in public.
For him, his candid advise for those who know they will definitely not be part of the breaking of the 8, but are on their way to exit is to keep quiet and go alone.
In Prof Ransford Gyampo’s Facebook post he stated emphatically that “Ministerial appointment isn’t licentious for arrogant public talk. If you are “packing” to exit, go alone. Other appointees are thinking about how to break the 8.”
He further noted that, that not withstanding, Ghanaians also want a servant leadership, and good governance that would improve their lives and not arrogant talks, so those ministers who cannot humble themselves to serve us, but want to lord it over Ghanaians because of their position should be informed.
“Ghanaians also want servant leadership and good governance that would improve their lot.”
