I Advised Kennedy Agyapong Not To Pursue The Defamatory Case Against Kevin Taylor- Lawyer Reveals

Some months ago, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong sued Kelvin Taylor, who doubles as the CEO of Loudsilence media for defamation and seeking $9.5 million in damages in Virginia State Court.

After a back and forth in court, the court threw out Hon Kennedy Agyapong defamation suit against Kevin Taylor. Many people thought, Kennedy Agyapong would have asked for a review the case in a different court but he rather with discontinued the case.

Today, Lawyer Ralph Kwame Agyapong who is also a brother of Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that he was the one who advised Kennedy Agyapong not to pursue the case anymore.

He made this revelation on Wontumi Fm. According to him, he asked his brother to stop pursuing the case because in the USA it is not easy to win a defamatory case. He explained that when you are public figure and you are being paid with tax payers money, what people say about you is regarded as opinion and therefore you have no case suing them for defamation.

He concluded by saying that he wished such a law existed in our constitution. What do you think about this news? Let us know what you think in the comment section.
