Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim agrees to extend contract at the club

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has agreed to extend his stay at the club according to reports linked to the Ghana international.

Danlad, has few months to end his contract with the Porcupines, but, terms are said to have been finalized for the Ghana international to remain with the Porcupines for a further season at least.

The goalkeeper, was linked to a move to Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman, but, Kotoko could not reach an agreement with the north African club on a transfer fee for the player.

Danlad Ibrahim has according to sources, agreed to remain at the Garden City club ahead of the start of the new season.

Last season, he played an key role as Kotoko run away with the Ghana Premier League, GPL title with matches to spur.

Chieftains at the club will hope his inclusion in the squad for next season, will aid them in their quest to retain the league title as well as mounting a challenge for the FA Cup trophy.

Asante Kotoko will also compete in the CAF Champions League competition next season and, they will need the service of Danlad Ibrahim and others in their ambition to perform in the upcoming campaign.
