UPDATE: 71 WASSCE Candidates Of Nifa SHS Will Not Write WASSCE; This Is Why

CIn the year 2020 the month of March, the nation Ghana was hit with a novel viral disease which is the Corona virus (COVID-19) which resulted in the closure of our secondary schools for a whole year and this has affected most of our current final year WASSCE candidates.

Reports has it that, 71 students of Nifa Senior High School will not be allowed to write the forthcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which the Visual Arts students have already begun.

It was reported on Adom TV and UTV Ghana that the headmaster of the school, Dr. Phillip Victor Akoto alleged sacked any media station that comes to take a report about it.

These 71 students were tagged as ‘truants’ as the reports claims. These students together with their parents have begged and pleaded with the management of the school for long and they always get a negative results which is why the media got involved.
