The Late President Mills’ brother, Dr. Cadman Atta Mills has finally revealed the cause of his brother’s death. A lot of Ghanaians have always wondered what exactly led to the death of the late President Mills. While some Ghanaians believe the country deserves to know the cause of Atta Mills’ death, others strongly disagree saying that should be known to only the family.
Meanwhile during an interview with TV XYZ, Cadman Atta Mills revealed that contrary to reports, Prof Mills wasn’t sick at the time he died. He revealed that Prof Mills was actually getting better because he had numerous check-ups in South Africa. He added that died just as we all know.
“ I want to be very candid with Ghanaians. Professor Mills got sick in 2005, immediately after the 2004 elections. He had to go to South Africa for treatments and even with the nature of sickness, he had to have regular medical check-ups. I can guarantee you that he was not sick at the time that he died. Even at the time, he was getting back because of the medical check-ups he was having. So the perception that he was sick isn’t entirely true.” Cadman Atta Mills boldly revealed this to TV XYZ.
The then President, John Evans Atta Mills died on 24th July, 2012 at the 37 Military Hospital. It was three days after his 68th birthday.
