The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has today in a Press Conference revealed the sad reality of Ghanaians under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo. During the NDC’s Press Conference, Sammy Gyamfi revealed things are very expensive under Akufo-Addo and it has even affected the price of Kalypo.
Sammy revealed that, Akufo-Addo rose to fame in 2016 when he started drinking Kalypo which he bought at 50p then. He revealed that, today, Ghanaians are buying the same Kalypo for 2.50p under President Akufo-Addo. This he said is the sad reality of Ghanaians. He also mentioned that Akufo-Addo doesn’t care about the hardships we are going through.
“ Ladies and gentlemen, even the President’s once favorite drink, Kalypo which he drank for fame in 2016. It was then sold at a cool price of 50pesewas but now being sold at 2.50p. The President may not know this because he’s now drinking expensive champaigns. This is the sad reality of Ghanaians. Almost everybody is feeling the brunt of the current economic hardships driven mainly by food inflation. Most Ghanaians are now aware that President Akufo-Addo doesn’t care about the hardships Ghanaians are going through.” Sammy Gyamfi boldly revealed this.
