Sadly, a young woman from Konongo-Praso recalls how their neighbor cuddled up to her after she finished her night studies. The woman claimed that the young man, Paa Akwasi, used to help her mother with the necessary household chores. One evening, she ran into him as he was leaving night classes, but she noticed that he had been following her around.
She warned him not to try to hurt her because she would tell her family if he did. She told her sibling about it, but the following night she encountered two young guys—Paa Akwasi’s friends—who threatened to harm her if she refused to comply with their plans. She claims one of the men covered her lips with a hanky, making her feel dizzy. She continued by saying that when she awoke, her reproductive organs were covered in bloodstains.
When she got home, she tried to tell her dad, but she was too afraid. The following day, she skipped class because Paa Akwasi had come to tell her that he had obtained what he needed but had taken action against her in case she tried to tell her family. This incident occurred when her mother vanished for a month, but when she returned home, she noticed certain alterations in her physical appearance. The mother took her to the emergency room, where, after a thorough examination by the medical staff, they discovered that she was pregnant.

She then revealed to her mother all of the pertinent details of what had happened to her. When they toldPaa Akwasiabout the pregnancy, he dismissed their claim that he was not to blame. According to the mother, she never expected the young man to harm her daughter in that way. He was raised as her child, and she always gave him everything. She left home to sell her belongings for a month, but when she came back to find out what had occurred, the young man had not even acknowledged that she was pregnant.
