Ghanaians on social media cannot believe that, the very people who asked the government and the Ministry of Communication to extend the SIM card registration deadline did not show up to do the registration on Monday morning.
The Ministry of Communication led by Honourable Ursula Owusu told Ghanaians that, the deadline for the registration of the SIM cards has been postponed to 30th of September, 2022.
As a matter of fact this actually relived a lot of pressure on some Ghanaians, because most them were rushing to the MTN offices to register their SIM cards. But it seems that, right after the postponement and extension of the deadline, Ghanaians are no longer interested or are not in a rush to register their SIM cards with the Ghana card.
A Facebook user took to “Tell It All” a popular Facebook page to let Ghanaians see and know what is happening at one of the MTN offices in Accra. This Facebook user posted a picture of empty seats at the MTN office at Dansoman this morning.
He posted this picture and captioned it as, “MTN Dansoman office currently. Ei Ghanaians.”
Some Ghanaians on this page could not help it but talk about how Ghanaians react to situations. Ghanaians react differently when there is an urgent situation and when it is not urgent.
A Ghanaian reacting to the above post revealed said that, “My Ghana people never disappoint.” Other users also added their voices to the post.
Below are the comments that some Ghanaians left behind.
