The director of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin has served another notice to the general public about President Akufo Addo’s plans for the ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
President Akufo Addo has appointed Honorable Lariba Zuweira Abudu as the minister designate for the Gender Ministry. She is also the Member of Parliament for Walewale.
A statement issued by the Jubilee House and signed by Director of Communication, Mr. Eugene Arhin said this is “in accordance with article 78 of the Constitution. Her appointment is subject to the approval of Parliament.” Her appointment came as a result of the revocation of the former Gender Minister, Honorable Sarah Adwoa from office.
