Former Black Queens Coach, Yussif Basigi, believes the Black Princess opponents have been overly planning their defeats in the upcoming U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Coach Basigi, believes Ghana’s opponents have been planning strategies for the Black Princess’ fall in their games.
“Playing against America will not be an easy much but haven beaten them before will serve as a motivation.
Everybody see us as underdogs”, he noted.
“One thing about these foreign countries, when you beat them, right from that day they will be working towards that. Why and what happened wrong, why you beat them?”.
“From the year you beat them, they start working on it. For me I know, they might have done a lot of work on Ghana. As to how they must stop us this time around or what to do”, he narrated.
“It was good we played against them (France Women’s U-20), to open up our loop holes for the technical team to see how they can fill in the loop holes.
Assuming this was the major tournament, it would have been very bad”, he concluded.
Ghana is in same group with USA, The Netherlands and Japan for the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
