The national identification authority (NIA) as part of its rules governing the possession of the Ghana card, provides room for update of personal records that was provided during the registration.
The National identification Authority noted that failure to notify the institution of change in personal records such as residents are punishable by law. Again in the event that your Ghana card get missing, the NIA also gives room for replacement.
The institution has finally released date for the commencement of replacement and update of personal records on the Ghana card across the country.
According to the national identification authority, all those with a Ghana cards can visit the 16 regional and 276 District offices across the country to update your personal records or get a new card if the old one is missing from the 8th of August, 2022.
The Director for National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP), Mr Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, who made this know in a post on Facebook said “Please note Replacement of Ghana Cards and Updates of personal records on Ghana Cards will be available throughout NIA’s 16 Regional and 276 District Offices Nationwide from 8th August 2022.”
