The recent circulating news that has unexpectedly caused massive reactions across all social media platforms was when the popularly known Ghanaian broadcast journalist finally came out to ‘spit out’ the bitter truth aside settling the debate over Akufo Addo’s free SHS policy as he heavily descended on Mahama’s running mate, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang again.
Speaking on the most anticipated “Good Evening Ghana” show, Paul Adom Okyere revealed that, Jean Naana Opoku Agyemang and the NDC shouldn’t dare tell the Akufo Addo government to review or cancel free SHS considering its success after massively campaigning against the same policy that has helped most less privileged JHS graduates and SHS students amongst others.
“It’s not people who shout slogans than mean nothing. It is people who say they’ll do free SHS and people say it’s not possible. Sometimes I look at Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and I smile. These are the people who said free SHS is not possible. She said it, so many times. You say there and said it’s not possible now you want it reviewed. That’s what you told them. You said it was not possible because you didn’t want to use taxpayers’ money to send the children to school. You shouldn’t even talk about it, allow civil society to talk. You can’t rescue the children in your neighborhood and backyard. I don’t understand why you’re now concerned about it”, Paul Adom Okyere emphatically revealed.
