Hon. Ibrahim Murtala on TV3 Newday show today on the big issue rose to Kwabena Bomfeh popularly known as Kabila for his submission on the program with which he never agreed to it.
Kabila was trying to defend the fact that Ghanaians are not suffering after Berla Mundi have asked him his view on the current economic situation in Ghana. According to Berla Mundi, when you listen to Ghanaians in interviews she has conducted, most of them are complaining about the hardship in Ghana and so are unhappy with the president.
Kabila on the other hand said he disagreed with her because the last time Ghanaians were made to question the performance of President Akufo-Addo on the whole was in the 2020 general elections and he won one time. This shows we are ok with him as Ghanaians, and so she cannot just based on her interviews to say Ghanaians are suffering. Besides she has not interviewed every Ghanaian so she cannot just jump into conclusions.
Furthermore, Kabila added that the quality of every research is based on the methodology and so with the interviews Berla did, until she gives the number of Ghanaians she interviewed, her research is not quality enough and so cannot say Ghanaians are suffering.
Hon. Ibrahim Murtala also disagreed with Kabila on what he said because with the current situation now, you do not even need surveys to tell you how Ghanaians are suffering. He asked Kabila to kindly stop challenging what Berla Mundi is saying because even some Leading Members of this NPP government have come out to say Ghanaians are suffering so he should stop challenging the fact.
Murtala said, “You are revealing your true self to us today on this platform, because leading Members of this government have said it, why are you challenging it now”.
