Vice Chairman of Kotoko’s National Circles Council, Nana Kwame Dankwa, has urged all to remain calm in the face of the club’s challenging times.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has resigned from the club with a replacement yet to be appointed. Nana Kwame spoke on yesterday’s edition of the Gold TalkSports.
The reports about his resignation generated several debates across the media divide with many saying it will affect the club’s preparations for the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors have already qualified for the CAF Champions League after claiming the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League – the first time for the club in eight seasons.
Asante Kotoko were not at their best last two seasons where they lost the league title to arch rivals, Hearts of Oak.
They have however qualified for the CAF Champions League after winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title – their first ever in eight seasons.
