Ghanaians ‘Blast’ Kabila After He Made These Statements About Mahama And Akufo-Addo

Yesterday, the CDD released a new report on corrupt institutions. This is a second report aside an Afro barometer index released 2 weeks ago. In this new report, the Ghana Police once again reigned supreme. Interestingly, the Office of the President came second and this goes to confirm certain accusations made by Martin Kpebu over the weekend.

In reacting to the new report, James Kwabena Bomfeh, mentioned that the report could have been targeted and not really be what it is meant to be. He noted that there are so many unanswered questions about the survey and it is not true that the Presidency comes second in corruption. He debunked the new report and questioned if the NDC would have accepted a report like this about them.

The former General Secretary of the CPP mentioned that the Mills and Mahama erstwhile governments of the NDC never took lightly to many corruption-related reports during their time. Kabila insisted that Mahama went hard on reports that cited him to be corrupt. Kabila went on to insist that Ghanaians are happy with president Akufo-Addo. He mentioned that the 2020 elections proved that all is well and Ghanaians are behind their president.

Many viewers of the show felt Kabila was in the studios to defend the ruling government. Many even before this programme have tagged Kabila as pro NPP. Kabila though a neutral panelist usually runs into collision with NDC supporters who feel his commentary usually goes against them. In the comments that followed throughout the show, Ghanaians hit hard at Kabila for spewing lies and defending President Akufo-Addo.
