The former NDC Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs, has finally reacted to the claims and allegations from the minority that, the Bank of Ghana has printed some 22 billion Ghana cedis at the hindsight of Parliament. Allotey Jacobs revealed the plan of the NDC MPs and the reason behind the spreading of such malicious information.
Allotey Jacobs revealed that the minority intended to create a panic withdrawal situation where the investors in the country quickly withdraw their monies. Consequently, according to Allotey Jacobs, the government will be left with no funds, and then Ghanaians will regret voting for the NPP since no developmental project will be done afterward.
“Some people are just not responsible. Ato Forson is my close nephew but I am disappointed in him for what he did, What they did was intended to create a panic withdrawal. After the panic withdrawal happens, the Government of Ghana and the Bank of Ghana will not have any money and then development will cease so that Ghanaians will vote for the NDC. And I must say, I am very proud of the Bank of Ghana. This is because this is the first time they have quickly responded to such propaganda talk. They did not allow even one day to pass by so that Ghanaians will think it is true.
