Retired in 2020 after two-year spells at Chinese CFA Super League club Qingdao after leaving Greece outfit Olympiacos in 2018-Ivory Coast International player Yaya Toure, on the latest report, is set to become an Academy at Tottenham Hotspur for the upcoming season.
The 97 international cap star who has had stints across Europe [Greece, France, Spain and England] was identified as the perfect candidate for such a huge role competing with England international and former Tottenham Hotspur star Jermain Defoe for the role.
Toure’s football career was a success story, the one young players may want to live up to -played for one of the best teams in Europe- AS Monaco, Barcelona and Manchester City alongside one of the best players -the likes of Lionel Messi, Samuel Eto’o, Xavi, Thierry Henry, Carles Puyol, Sergio Aguero and a quite few others.
