“ I quit the National Democratic Congress myself and I’m now a social commentator. I don’t want to hear anything about the NDC but I would love to hear things about Professor Mills. I don’t want to go into why I’m no more in the NDC. I’m very okay now. I feel free not being at the party. The party can’t sideline me, I’m an institution myself and so I sidelined the party. I am very happy not belonging to the NDC.” Allotey Jacobs told Metro TV in an interview during the commissioning of Asomdwee Park on July 24, 2022.
