His Excellency Former President, John Dramani Mahama, has not only fearlessly shamed his critics by storming the Asomdwe Park today. But he has also broken his silence on the Asomdwe Park brouhaha. Whiles addressing the people present and eulogizing The Late President, John Evans Atta Mills, Former President John Dramani Mahama stated boldly that the idea and decision of the government to renovate the Asomdwe Park was very welcoming and that Ghanaians appreciate it.
Mr. Mahama, on the other hand, failed to understand why the government found it wise to involve Koku Anyidoho, who has on several occasions, dragged the Professor’s name into disrepute.
“It is untenable for this renovation to be done without recross to his family whiles involving some individuals whose actions and conducts have only served to drag the dignified name and memory of the Late Professor into needless public controversies.”
“If it is desired to score cheap political points, then it evinces the democracy of Ghana and that is why our politics is suffering. We can do all the politics we want but we cannot tamper with sacred things.”, Mahama explained.
