It is rather sad and unfortunate, that Ghana is remembering a great man today. A man of peace and unity.
Ten (10) years on, honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa wants to find out how the late Professor John Evans Atta Mills would have handled this situation, if roles were reversed.
Like we all know the country’s situation presently, how would our late president handle it if he were to be alive.
Were Ghanaians going to see that same president, who will unite people and reconcile people? Was he going to lead and treat us with dignity and respect?
Or on the contrary, would he be petty and exploitative? That is making less important and taking advantage of our situation to make profit?
These and many other questions runs through our mind as we celebrate the 10years anniversary Ablakwa asks ” If roles were reversed, how would Prof. Atta Mills have handled this situation?
Would he have been the legendary peacemaker and statesman we know him to be by providing leadership of unity, reconciliation, dignity and respect for customs or he would be petty and exploitative?”
Let us answer these questions for ourselves.
