Otumfuo Osei Tutu is one of the prominent Kings in Ghana. He is the paramount Chief or King for the Ashanti Kingdom. Another member of parliament from the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, has been called by one of the prominent journalist in Ghana by name Captain Smart to go and render sincere apology to Asante Hene for making a particular statement which does not show a sign of respect to the people Ashanti Region especially to those in Asante – Akyim Central Constituency.
According to Captain Smart, Honorable Kwame Anyimadu Antwi said that, MPs does not work with roads in their hands and if they have roads in their hands, they will provide it to their constituencies. In the View of Captain Smart, the electorate did not vote for the MPs to take salaries. Rather, they were voted into office to bring development of which roads cannot be eliminating.
As a result, Captain Smart is telling Honorable Kwame Antwi to go to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to render apology for making that Particular statement.
