Ghana Corruption Survey: I Voted For The President Because He Promised To Use Anas’ Principle

A private legal practitioner, Martin Kpebu has sadly recounted the main reason why he voted for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to Martin Kpebu, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised the Ghanaians that he will use Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ principle of corruption to fight against any corruption that will pop up among the government officials and in the country.

Martin Kpebu claims that this made him vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but all have become in vain because Anas Aremeyaw Anas is now an enemy to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Martin Kpebu said the right man for Anas Aremeyaw Anas is dead and a president who claims to use their principle to fight against the corruption in Ghana is slow in investigating the cause of the death.

Martin Kpebu has deeply regretted voting for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and therefore, he wants him to step down.

This comes after a survey conducted by the Ghana Statistical Service and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice found that about five billion Ghana Cedis was paid in cash as bribes to public officials last year, according to a survey.
