Ashantis Captain Smart seem to have had enough of politicians taking them for granted because the region is their stronghold. The constituents are deemed submissive and they don’t complain hence those voted to represent them in parliament only do things when elections are getting nearer. After elections, they refuse to continue and abandon the masses to their fate.
On Onua TV, the morning show host vented his anger on one legislator by name of Honorable Ayimadu who had made some comments in defense of the majority leader. The lawmaker opined that “those Suame residents who expressed their frustration to their MP didn’t do well, if the MP had the roads, he would have brought it.”
Captain Smart posited that these sayings are extremely childish and the constituents within the area of Hon. Ayimadu must protest against him. Anytime he visits, his bodyguards must be with him or else he will regret it. Then again if it’s not because of development why was he voted for?
The journalist concluding remarks were “You have insulted Otumfuor. If You are wise, resign. Visit Manhyia at Akwasidae and apologize to Otumfuor. We shall show you something in the upcoming primaries.”
