According to the woman known as comrade 1 her parents broke up when she was five years of age. Her mother got married to a different person and her father was also leaving with another woman.
They were all staying at Nima but due to the break up his father sent her to stay with her Auntie in Eastern. Later, she moved back to stay with her dad. Unfortunately, her father punished her for going out with friends when she was 14 years. He grind ginger and pepper, placed it on top of her [email protected], and used his penis to push it. Before she realized everything has happened.
On his second attempt with the same procedure, she shouted, and the tenants in the house came to her rescue. She didn’t get easy her father nearly killed her with beatings. She can’t go to her mum because of her husband, so she decided to live on the street and hustle for herself.
Life wasn’t easy on the street, she was selling water and toffee she get on credit and pay back after selling. One faithful day her Auntie and her husband who is a popular Ghanaian musician met her on the street and they decided to take her home to continue her education.
She was doing everything like a maid and the school they promised her also didn’t happen. Unfortunately, she was raped again by the husband of his Auntie at Gunpoint. She told her Auntie and accused her as a witch because she just wanted to destroy her marriage. It went on and on till she decided to pack from the house and live on the street again.
Though she had the opportunity to travel to the USA but she can’t forget all those memories. It hurt her a lot and it all happened because of a broken home. She will only advise that parents should consider the life of their children even if they separate.
